Android not connecting to WiFi router…

This is probably the stupidest and most frustrating bug you can have with your android device; phone unable to connect to your home or office wifi network!

Solution is so simple that it is hard to believe it works… It worked for me on 2 different Android phones, Samsung galaxy S 2 and Sony Ericsson Xperia.

Just change the channel of your WIFI router between channel 3 and 9 make sure it is on manual and that the router will not change the channel later on.

You MUST change the channel even if it is on 4 or 7, JUST CHANGE IT to 3 first and check if your phone can connect.

In order to apply this solution you must have access to your WiFi router configuration page.

Please post a comment if it worked or not for you.

Zeppelin Air and AirPlay

The use of the Zeppelin Air airplay speaker system can be quiet a deception with an iPod, iPhone or iPad. In fact I have the same issues as many users are complaining of dropouts while in airplay mode on the AppStore questions section.

I found that iTunes handle AirPlay much better than the portable iOS devices. So to fully enjoy the great speaker system you must use it with your iTunes library. But then you don’t want to get stuck in front of your PC or Mac to select and play your music from iTunes. Solution is the Remote app from the AppStore. With this simple app you will fully control your music speaker system trough your Mac or PC using iTunes as the main song player. Just allow home sharing into iTunes preferences and get any of your iOS devices to control iTunes. Even your friends can control it and ask for songs from your library.
